THE MOTO GP AND F1 CIRCUIT
The F1 and the Moto GP circuit – following the international rule for this kind of competitions, first condition for the official request to allocate in Indonesia one step of the races.
Everybody that follow this kind of races can imagine what economic inducts follows this event. International press and all world televisions put this location in the middle of general attention for 3 days, time of the event. The races produce big interest of the most important world company for advertising effects. Thousand of persons follow these events with different interest. Almost the western country try to have one race per year, but actual politics of International Committee take decision to open to other country, especially in Asia Area, for more business opportunity. The destiny, because inside of the city, where there are not a really circuit. In the next 3 years, the Committee has to assign these races to other country that presented the candidature. The international press report about Singapore and Chorea candidature, but also some difficult to assign new races up those exiting, actually 17. Indonesia has to understand that the economical progress cross trough these competition and have tp present his candidature and indicate the place where intend to allow the circuit with all infrastructures strictly necessary to support the events.
Our technical committee took contacts with the Management of Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia asking support for the Indonesia Candidature. SIC Management says that in Malaysia F1 International Races will finish in 2010 and starting from 2011 they agree to transfer their experience in Indonesia . They agree to be sponsor of Indonesia Candidature by International Committee and to manage race organization and commercial aspects.
The Klungkung Area
Round in Indonesia there are not places more suitable for allocate one important event like F1 and Moto GP circuit. Bali Island does not need to be presentation at the whole world. Everybody agree to come in Bali for holiday, so we can imagine what welcome kind will have the Indonesian candidature fot these events. Klungkung location (500Ha) appears born to receive this circuit. Close to the sea, the location is very well windy and never daily temperature exceeds 31 degree. The scenario is beautiful, green in everywhere. Never strong wind.
Actually, the land situation is characterized by a depressed area (rive delta), really adapt area to receive one Marina , and by a productive flat agricultural area (rice filed). Round of these areas small village leaves completely free the circuit location. Very close to Denpasar (28km) and Bali International Airport (35km), the Klungkung Area is reachable trough a Highway.
